Terms of Service

Last updated July 28, 2026.

Simulation only — no real money

Meridian is an educational trading simulator. Every balance, trade, gain, and loss in Meridian is virtual. Nothing in the app constitutes real investing, real trading, or a real brokerage account, and no real money, security, or cryptocurrency is ever bought, sold, or held on your behalf. Prices are sourced from real markets for realism, but placing an order in Meridian never touches a real exchange, bank, or wallet.

Not financial advice

Nothing displayed in Meridian — prices, news, leaderboards, or your own results — is investment, financial, or trading advice. Simulated performance is not indicative of how any strategy would perform with real money.

Your account

You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you register with and for keeping your password confidential. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Meridian to harass others, attempt to disrupt the service, or try to access another user’s account or data. Usernames and any public profile content should stay respectful — accounts that violate this may be suspended.

Market data

Prices are sourced from third parties (including Yahoo Finance and Coinbase) on a best-effort basis and may be delayed, cached, or occasionally unavailable. Meridian makes no guarantee of price accuracy or availability.

Service provided “as is”

Meridian is provided without warranties of any kind. We’re not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app — which, given nothing here involves real money, should never be a financial loss in the first place.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. Continuing to use Meridian after an update means you accept the revised terms.
